Minor League (17/04/13): Naomh Muire 1-10, Aodh Ruadh 1-12

The minors took on Aodh Ruadh tonight in this the latest match in minor league section 1. In very wintry conditions in Annagry it was the visitors who took a 2 point lead into half time 1-05 to 6 points. Naomh Muire could of booked their spot in the final against Ardara with a win tonight but it wasn't going to be easy as Aodh Ruadh can also qualify for the final and not forgetting they are the County champions with a point to prove after starting the season poorly.
The start of the second half the home team rattled the net to go 1 point up and with a couple of points after that they started to look comfortable.Their was never any more than 3 points between the teams and the game was always their for the taking but the Ballyshannon men stuck at it and were rewarded with a 2 point win that now opens up the league once more.
