Both teams were defeated this evening in the banks. The reserves fought hard while playing most of the game with 14 men but lost out by two points in the end.
In the senior game the visiting team got off to a flying start getting 1-02 on the board before Naomh Muire got into their stride. With both teams exchanging points then Urris maintained their lead. Naomh Muire had reduced the margin to just two points but on the stroke of half time Urris got their second goal to leave six points in it. The heavens opened which made playing conditions difficult and although the home team out-scored Urris in the second half the Clonmany men had enough to see out the game.
