U18's: Naomh Muire 1-07 Dungloe 0-08

Following the Senior match v Naomh Mícheál yesterday....it was the turn of the Minors today (03/03/13) in their League Division 1 match against neighbours Dungloe played in the Banks in great Spring conditions.

Both sides fought hard for early possession and it was the home side who made most of their percentage leading 1-6 to 0-3 at HT.

Dungloe came out with much more purpose in the 2nd half and Naomh Muire were reduced to several chances which they couldn't convert allowing the Upper Parish lads to pull it back to 2 points and several near miss opportunities to draw level.

Naomh Muire held out and overall were the better side over the hour and collecting two points against the Strong Dungloe Minors was a good start to the season. The season however is only starting so its just another game in a long season with lots of work to do .
