Naomh Muire v Glenfin - Following the success in the Intermediate Championship on Sunday last- it's back to the all-important league duty on Sunday with a home game against Glenfin led by current All-Star Frank McGlynn.
The recent turnaround in the Championship which showed both character and attitude when needed along with an injection of pace with Minors coming into the side....has been nothing short of impressive. It would be a great boost to take that recent form into the league which is very probable especially at home where they have been able to turn the screw on many sides over the years. Two points in what is going to be a tough league end would be a great reward for the recent efforts on the road. You just get the feeling that there is a spring back in the squad and a return to early season form which saw them fear no team in this league. This is a great time to be hitting form and whereas Glenfin are always a tough side - the reverse fixture in Glenfin saw leave Naomh Muire leave in a game they should have got a point at least. With every game both in league and Championship of high importance from now until October- Sunday is both a great test and opportunity. Home advantage, good recent form continuing, a burst of young lads full of energy, a strong home support as always could all be pointing to a Naomh Muire victory on Sunday and we wish the entire team and management all the very best. Reserve match at 1.30pm - Seniors at 3pm - spread the word and get the big numbers of support out. Comments are closed.
