The under 10s beat Ballyboden St Enda's and Ballyboden Wanderers to win back the James Maria Cup which was last won in 1995. Two great games of football and remember Ballyboden St Enda's are one of Ireland's biggest clubs with an amazing 82 teams!!! The under 12s beat Lucan Sarsfields and Ballyboden Wanderers to win the Jim Kearns Cup for the first time. Quality passing was the fea...ture of both games by the young Naomh Muire team. Overall a great day in Ballyboden and with two cups we left the Dublin mountains and headed for a great night in Croke park. Although Donegal lost (Baile Átha Cliath 3-16 Dún na nGall 0-13 ) we enjoyed the hurling match and the Dublin v Donegal game. We should be very proud of the 46 boys and girls who travelled and who represented their club and community with pride and great manners. All will remember days like this probably for ever which makes days like this worth it all. Watching them put the hard work of the winter training into practise against strong Dublin clubs was great to watch and they will all have taken something good from today. Thanks to all the coaches who travelled and to Sean O Baoill in Ballyboden for arranging the hosting of the blitz All the photos from the trip are available in the Gallery.
