The selection of Under-age coaches for the 2014 season was finalised at a meeting of Bord na nÓg on Monday night.
U-6 - Donal Rodgers. (Additional Help required) U-8 - Michael Kavanagh, Richie Currothers, Maurice Mc Bride, Catherine Bonner, Martin Bonner U-10 - Charlie Boyle, Paul McBride, JJ Doherty, Seamus Ferry, Ita Boyle U-12 - Tom Marry, Paddy Ban Gallagher, Declan Martin, Hugh Bonner U-14- Paul McFadden, Gary Boyle, Joe Glynn, Martin Mannion U-16 - deferred U-18 - Michael Gallagher, Brian Feda, Sean Mc Fadden, Gary Boyle Start dates and times for underage training will be given out at Sundays' Presentation which is in the Aislann at 4pm. Tá gasúraí agus girseachaí faoi seacht déag ag gabhail go Gallaimh an deireadh seachtaine seo (12/04/13 - 14/04/13) le páirt a ghlacadh i gcomórtas Óige na Gaeltachta. Is cluichí seachtar an taobh atá i gceist agus beidh na cluichí ann Dé Sathairn in éadan foirne as Gallaimh, Corcaigh, Ciarraí, Baile Cliath agus Béal Feirste. Chuaigh siad uilig síos go Gallaimh aréir agus beidh siad ag fanacht go dtí an Domhnach. Guíonn muid gach ráth orthu. The U-17 boys and girls are going to Galway this weekend (12/04/13 - 14/04/13) to play in the Óige na Gaeltachta all-ireland 7 a side competition. They travelled down last night (Friday) and will be staying until Sunday. The football takes place on Saturday against teams from Galway, Cork, Kerry Dublin and Belfast.

Iarrtar ar na himreoirí a bheith ansin ag 4:15 i.n. agus bríste peile, stocaí, miteogaí agus cosaint fiacla a bheith leo ar an lá. Go raibh maith agaibh. The under 15 boys will play Dungloe in the Gaeltacht this Friday evening in the banks with a throw-in time of 5pm. All players should be at the club-house for 4.15pm. Bring shorts, socks, gloves and gum-shields.

The Donegal Southern board 2013 championship draws took place yesterday evening (17/01/13).
UNDER 14'S The under 14s format runs in a round robin competition, the same as last year with one group of five teams and one group with four teams competing. Division 1: Group 1: Dungloe, Four Masters, Aodh Ruadh, Naomh Conail & Bundoran. Group 2: Kilcar, St Nauls, Naomh Muire & Ardara Division 2: Group 1: Ardara B, Four Masters B, Naomh Columba, Group 2: Killybegs, Naomh Brid, Naomh Ultan UNDER 16'S In the Under 16's championship 7 teams will compete for the division 1 title and 6 teams have entered the division 2 championship. Division 1 Dungloe v Ardara Aodh Ruadh v Naomh Columba Killybegs v Naomh Conaill (Naomh Muire received a bye) Division 2 Bundoran v Kilcar Na Rossa v Four Masters (N Brid & St Nauls receive byes) MINOR CHAMPIONSHIP The minor championship draw proved very interesting with 9 teams entering the division 1 competition and 4 teams will battle it out for the division 2 title. Division 1 Preliminary Round, Naomh Muire v Naomh Conaill. The winners of this tie will play Dungloe in the quarter final. Quarter Finals: N Muire/N Conaill v Dungloe Aodh Ruadh v St Johns Kilcar v Ardara Bundoran v Four Masters Division 2 Semi-Finals Naomh Bríd v Na Rossa Naomh Columba v St Nauls MINOR LEAGUE The minor league will take the same format as last year with all teams taking part in a 2 section division 1 competition. Section 1: Naomh Columba, Naomh Conaill, Naomh Muire, Naomh Brid, Dungloe, Aodh Ruadh & St Johns Section 2: Na Rossa, Ardara, Kilcar, Bundoran, Four Masters & St Nauls. 2013 Fixtures will be sent to clubs in the coming weeks. Check website for regular updates. The draw for the under 16 shampionship semi-finals has taken place and Naomh Mhuire will play either Aodh Ruadh or Four Masters. The semi-final is over 2 legs with the 1st leg at home in the banks on Monday 25th June and the 2nd leg taking place the following Monday.
The under 16 boys continue their league campaign when they entertain Killybegs in the Banks this Sunday morning. This is their first home game of the season and im sure the lads are looking forward to a home game having been on the road for their first three games. The game will throw-in at 12 noon.
The under 16 boys will travel to Glenties this Sunday to take on Naomh Conaill in their next league game. The game throws in at 12pm.
The under 16s begin their division 1 league campaign with a trip to Ardara on Sunday morning. The game has a throw-in time of 12 noon. The boys face a tough start with their 1st 3 games away from home. The target for this will be to keep improving and see if they have moved forward from under 14s 2 years ago. The boys will need to stick at their task throughout the season and train hard as the season continues. The teams who do this will come to the fore.
