U12s Win Division 1 Plate!

Naomh Muire Under 12s defeated Aodh Rua Ballyshannon in the Banks tonight to win the Div 1 plate.

The young lads who started their pre-season training as far back as January put in a great performance tonight in this, their final match of the year. Aodh Rua, always a club of top quality at under-age level, had no answer to the Naomh Muire who dominated from the start. Playing in Div 1 has been a big test to the lads but they have put in some big performances throughout the season and tonights win was well deserved.

Great credit to coaches, Joe Glynn, Paul Mc Fadden, Declan Martin and Martín Mannion for their hard work all year and yet another great group of over 30 lads are coming through the system which is a positive for the future.
