U12's League: 24/06/13 An Chlochán Liath v Naomh Muire

The U12’s league continued on Monday with an away game to Dungloe. Both A & B games proved to be very tight and physical affairs. The A’s started slowly again down 5 points at half time on a score line of 1-04 to 2-06. With our backline working much harder in second half and good support play in midfield and forward line our A side gradually pushed on to win the game with help of some very clinical finishing. The final score line was 2-08 to 5-05. This game was 30 minutes aside and the fitness level of our lads was very encouraging with all working hard right to the end. Great displays in particular from our Goal keeper Tuathal  Lunny in the backline from Hugh Sweeney and Fintan Doherty while Mikey McFadden and Jay Doherty, with a personal tally of 4 goals, showed the way up front.

The B team also put in a huge performance and were unlucky to go down by point at the end. Strong performance from Lee Gallagher, Joe Bonner , Dillon O Donnell , Marc Walsh  & Liam Gallagher.
