A good day was held in the banks on Saturday morning with Naomh Mhuire under 10s hosting GaothDobhair, St.Michaels and St.Eunans. The weather was windy which made conditions tough and apart from one heavy downpour it stayed dry. All teams played well on the day with very little seperating the 4 teams making all games competitive. It was great to see St.Eunans at the banks yesterday and we hope to see them back in the future. Thanks also to our neighbours Gaothdobhair who are frequent visitors at this stage and to St.Michaels who always have been coming to the banks this last couple of years for challenge games at all under-age levels. Thanks to the ladies who did great work in the kitchen with first class service and welcome which is the norm at this stage. Thanks to referees Robbie o Donnell who was in Croke park a couple of weeks ago but was back on under-age duty in the banks yesterday. Also thanks to young Aidi o Gara who was also officiating and who is a great example of the kind of young lads we want in the club.
![]() Naomh Mhuire will host an under 10 blitz in the banks this Saturday. We will welcome our neighbours Gaoth Dobhair, St.Michaels and St.Eunans to the banks to take part against our own lads. It is great to be able to welcome these 3 clubs to the banks and we believe it will help the development of our own players. A great day is in store with some great action a guarantee. The games begin at 11am with all teams having 2 teams participating on 2 different pitches to make sure the action comes thick and fast. All players should be there for 10.15am and anyone helping should be there for 10am to organise the pitches. ![]() An enjoyable blitz was held in the banks on Saturday last with Naomh Conaill, Dungloe and Gaoth Dobhair travelling to the banks. Naomh Mhuire had 33 players and 3 teams on the day and all 3 teams put in brilliant performances. To mention names would not be fair today as everyone played their part and done what they were asked to do. However Naomh Mhuire's stand-out performer today was Fionan mac Ruairí who won loads of ball in defence and passed every ball to his team-mate. Well done. Well done goes to their coaches who work with them, namely Aidi, Tom, Joe and Charlie. Thanks to Ardara and Naomh Ultan who travelled today. Thanks to the ladies in the kitchen who helped out on the day. The under 10s next game is this Wednesday evening where they travel to Gaoth Dobhair for 3 games.
