(30/09/12). In their first year at Minor level, the young ladies of Naomh Muire beat Gaoth Dobhair yesterday in the Banks convincingly setting up the always tough tie with Naomh Conaill in Glenties today. Having had some real ding-dong battles with the Glenties based side in recent years at various age levels, our girls were always going to have to be on top of their game and that is exactly what happened winning by a big score 3-13 to 1-04. This result places them into a County semi-final in their first year and with the U-16s already in a County final, the craic is only starting in the Lower Rosses.
