The under 13s have another tough game when they play high-flying Naomh Conaill in the banks this Saturday morning in their div 1 league game. The game takes place in the banks with a throw-in time of 11am. There will be training on Wednesday evening at 7pm and all players should be in the banks at 10.15 am on Saturday morning.
Naomh Mhuire and Four Masters played out a cracking encounter in the banks on Saturday morning last. Naomh Mhuire put in a good performance against league leaders Four Masters after a couple of poor performances in their 2 previous games. Trailing at half-time by 5 points Naomh Mhuire put in a great 2nd half display and with a bit of luck could have taken the 2 points with the game flowing from end to end. However, the performance is more important than a win and the team performance from all the lads was good on Saturday morning last. Oisin mc Dowell who made his debut out-field had a storming game at corner-back along-side the steady Declan Ward at full-back. Aidan Gillespie and Odhran Rodgers battled bravely at mid-field as did Donnchadh Casey at centre-half forward. Eugene Byrne and Seimi Grant were the scorers in chief for the home side and looked dangerous when they got the ball close to goal.
The under 13s continue their div 1 league campaign this Saturday. They will play Ardara in the banks. The game will throw-in at 12pm.
The under 13s will continue their div 1 league campaign with a game away to Killybegs on Saturday morning. Throw-in time for the game is at 11am. The bus will leave the car park at 9.15am.
The under 13s lost their first league game against Aodh Ruadh by 3 points. An exciting game of football with good play from both teams. Naomh Mhuire were well ahead at half-time but Aodh Ruadh finished strong in the last 20 minutes with a great comeback. Well done to both teams on a good game of football. Best for Naomh Mhuire were Daniel Devlin, Odhran Mac Ruairi and Jack o Donnell. Their next game is against Bundoran on Sunday with the bus leaving the car park at 9.45am.
