The Bord na nÓg AGM will be held on Sunday November 20th in the banks. Prior to the meeting it is important that we know who is willing to get involved in looking after a team for the 2012 season. Please contact Gary if you would like to get involved in a role managing, coaching or helping out with a team.
The club will hold a level 1 coaching course for club coaches during the weekend of December 3rd and 4thin the sports-hall in Dungloe. The course will run on Friday evening from 7pm to 10pm and on Saturday from 9am to 3pm. This is an excellent opportunity for coaches to up-skill on their doorstep with other coaches from the club without having to travel a long distance. Training will move indoors from this week on for the winter months. Training will commence on Saturday mornings for under 8s and under 10s and on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 8 for under 12s. Training takes place in the sportshall in Dungloe at the Rosses Community School. To cover the cost of the hall there will be a cost of 2 euros per session. Children need to wear trainers as well as their Naomh Mhuire training gear. Please be there 5 minutes before your training starts.

As the playing season is coming near an end, there will be a Bord Na nÓg review meeting in the banks this Sunday evening from 6pm to 7.30pm. This is the most important meeting of the year and it is vital that all coaches and managers of teams from u8s through to u18s are in attendance. Can managers please make a special effort and make sure that they and their coaches are at this important meeting to help plan for 2012. This is your chance to have your say. Under 10 training will continue this Saturday morning in the banks at 10am. All players should be there for 9.55am with their gloves.
Well done to Eugene Byrne who represented the club during half-time at the county final on Sunday last. Under 12 players from across the county got the chance to play in MacCumhaill park and entertain the crowd. Eugene managed to score 4 points during his game. Well done.
Next years under 16 and minor players are requested to be in the Aislinn in Ranafast tomorrow evening at 7pm. Its important for any player who wants to be part of these squads for the 2012 season.
There will be a meeting in the banks this Saturday evening at 5.30pm for all under-age players who were born in the years 1994, 1995, 1996 and 1997. It is very important that any player who is playing minor or under 16 in 2012 who was born in these years attends this short meeting.
Our stars of the future will head to Croke Park tomorrow (21/08/2011) to take in the All-Ireland semi-final between Kerry and Mayo and see the best player of the last 5 years, Colm 'The Gooch' Cooper in action. The bus will leave the car park at 8 am in the morning. You need to bring a packed lunch and a drink with you for the bus. We will stop on the way back in Monaghan in McDonalds so you will need some money for that. The cost of the trip is 5 euros and anybody who has not already paid can do so in the morning.
