Ulster Intermediate Championship Quarter Final- Celtic Park Derry- Sunday November 3rd.
Foreglen O'Brien's (Doire) v Naomh Muire (Dún na nGall). It is with great pride and honour that Danny O'Donnell and the lads will represent both club and county in this Ulster Championship Intermediate Championship match in the famous Celtic Park Derry. Foreglen O'Brien's were founded in 1888 making them one of the first GAA clubs in Ireland and playing this 125 year old club means that we are playing a club steeped in History. By comparison Naomh Muire - founded in 1980 are one of Donegal's youngest clubs although we too are proud of our history and growth. This will be a great day in Derry and as the team are prepared for this Ulster clash - we now start the off field efforts to get the crowds out to Celtic Park for the big match. One thing that many are talking about since the win in Letterkenny was the huge Naomh Muire support and we also know that the team felt that as well throughout the game. This will be a tough match against a strong Foreglen side but with a strong support and the lads taking recent form into the match.....anything is possible on the day. Updates re transport, directions etc will be posted in the run up to the trip to Derry. NAOMH MUIRE ABÚ Comments are closed.
