We had a great trip to Croke Park yesterday with the under-age in what is now an annual trip. Most supported Mayo but couldn't but admire the skill of Kerry and especially Colm 'The Gooch' Cooper. Joe Glynn took half the day to recover from his native Roscommon's defeat in the Minor game but he had pulled around by the time he had his second happy meal in McDonald's in Monaghan. This trip was sponsored by Feda O Donnell's buses and this trip is made possible by that kind and outstanding sponsorship. Our thanks again to Feda O'Donnell buses and to driver Alan Duffy who was a great man for the job yesterday....getting us there and back safely and patiently. The good manners and respect from all children who traveled was remarked upon by a Kerry schoolteacher who sat behind us at the match (she hopes to be sitting with us again on All-Ireland day!!) Great bunch to take anywhere. Comments are closed.
