Naomh Muire 1-14 v Bundoran 1-9. This crucial division 2 league match saw the lads perform at the very top of their game in the Banks this evening. Although they missed an early penalty, Naomh Muire were the physically stronger team in what was a hard hitting battle at times. They led by 4 points at Half time and extended this to 7 points before the experienced visitors netted and narrowed it to 3 points. This was an impressive team performance with every single player of 20 used giving it all they had. Bundoran came attempting to drive into promotion territory but met a tougher, hungrier and faster side on the night. Earlier the reserves showed similar traits in an impressive second half performance coming back from a 5 point deficit to win well. There were some strong performances as well as a team effort and a return to Naomh Muire football for Declan Boyle (Yank) after an absence of 8 years.
