Intermediate Championship Begins this weekend

The preliminary round of the Intermediate Championship gets underway this Sunday (22/05/2011). Fanad Gaels face a tough first leg with a trip to Ballyshannon. Also on Sunday there is a local derby with St. Nauls entertaining Naomh Bríd in Mountcharles in what is sure to be another tight encounter. The final game of the preliminary round sees Naomh Colmcille host Cardonagh. With Carndonagh struggling in the league so far, Newton will fancy their chances with home advantage. Naomh Muire will face the winners of this last game. All games throw in at 3pm on Sunday. The full list of Intermediate Championship fixtures is shown below. 

The Senior Championship also gets underway this weekend with neighbours Dungloe and Gaoth Dobhair both at home in their opening fixtures. Dungloe face a tough test against St. Eunans while Gaoth Dobhair take on Termon in Machaire Gathlan. A full list of all championship fixtures is available under the fixtures drop down menu.
