Minors Defeated by St Nauls on Tuesday Night.

The minors were defeated in a good game with St Nauls. Despite some good performances from some of our players, St. Nauls point taking was the difference at the end of the game. A good start by St Nauls, with two points on the board, was cancelled out by a goal from Luke McFadden. James Ferry, Tomas Devenney, David Coyle and John Walsh added points, but St Nauls hit a purple patch hitting six points on the trot. Half Time Score; St. Nauls 0-10 Naomh Mhuire 1-4.
A second goal from Luke McFadden, and points from David Coyle and Hugh Yank Boyle put Naomh Mhuire back in the game. A goal from a penalty from John Walsh, despite having to take it twice, as the referee was not ready the first time, put us in front with 5 minutes left. St. Nauls were not to beat however and the finished with three points for the one point victory.
