Big Sunday ahead on the football front.
Seniors and reserves are away in Burt tommorrow Sunday. Although the league approaches its half way stage.....this is the first trip to Inishowen and with 5 of the teams in the league from that part of Donegal......the league will be won ...or lost in Inishowen. This match is a big test for the Seniors who remain unbeaten in the league. Burt are near the bottom of the league but a closer look at their losses shows that they have lost 4 games by very narrow margins....and drawing the remainder. They are particularly hard to beat at home. Naomh Mhuire will have to draw on all of their recent league form...plus a bit more if they are to leave Burt tommorrow night with full points. The lads are training well and are focused on the prize of promotion. Lets hope a good support as usual gets down to Burt for the match. Reserves will be looking to get back to winning ways after losing out to Buncrana in the Banks last week in a below par performance . Reseve match at 1.30pm...Senior game at 3pm. The GAA pitch is along the main road to the left as you approach Burt. Tommorrow night our Under 16s are involved in a Championship play off with rivals Kilcar and this game is in Glenties which means supporters can drive back to Glenties to support the lads. The first match in the Banks saw Naomh Mhuire win by a big score. Last weeks game in Kilcar resulted in a big win for Kilcar but Naomh Mhuire had several players resting and unavailable. This Sunday will see the young lads of Naomh Mhuire attempt to pull off a victory against a Kilcar side who last year got to the County final. The Naomh Mhuire lads have prepared well for this and we wish them all the very best in this play-off. Good luck to all teams Comments are closed.
