U-16 Division 1 league: Naomh Mhuire 4-18 Four Masters 1-12

Congratulations to the U-16's on a great league win away to Four Masters. Gary Boyle the bainisteoir of the u-16's got a call while in Falcarragh today that Four Masters wouldnt travel because of the fires along the road.....although the roads were all open. The bold Gary called their bluff and said right then....we'll travel up to Donegal although he could have claimed the points.....but points are not what football is about.....not in Gary's world
The young lads made there way to Donegal town and played the non-travelling Four Masters side off the field with a great display of passing, movement and strenghth with young Sean Mc Cafferty scoring 2-8 in what was another team performance.
These young tigers have now beaten Killybegs, Ardara, Four Masters and Kilcar in the league.
What a great way to respond to an attempt to call off a game.......is that positive or what!!!!....Well done Gary, Sean Mac Phaidín and all the young under 16s......the future of a great club.
